The provision of Metallurgical Training is an important part of our business.
Many engineerng companies use materials where their metallurgy is not known or understood. Only by understanding materials will you be able to optimise their selection and fabrication, and importantly avoid potential problems and failures.
We are able to provide basic and more advanced training on most aspects of metallurgy. This can be achieved in a number of ways:

These are courses specifically written around the requirements of your company. They have the advantage of including the topics which were relevant to your business and at a level appropriate to the knowledge of the personnel attending. They also have the advantage of being run on site and hence the time away from work can be kept to a minimum.

We are able to organise off site courses for companies, which are tailored to their requirements. The venues may be local to your company and will be approved by you. We will then make all the arrangements and bookings for the course. Again the topics and materials relevant to your organisation may be included.

Lloyd-Thomas Consultancy run at frequent intervals training courses on a range of subjects. These are run off site and follow a set programme.

To date we have run over 60 courses, the first of which was completed on the 1/2/01.
Also, Lloyd-Thomas Consultancy training courses have just received Institute of Metals, Materials and Mining (IOM3) approval for some courses.
